Svree was Stellan's and Jytte's great-great-grandfather. During the Long Ago, Svree was named after the star that points to the Nevermoves star. "Svree" was a popular name during his time. He was a chieftain, a member of the Bear Council in the Ice Star Chamber, which consisted of one bear from each of the eighteen polar bear clans. There were eighteen polar bear clans, because there were eighteen stars in the Great Bear constellation. After the Great Melting, the Bear Council and polar bear clans disbanded, thus deserting the Ice Star Chamber.
